Fresh and Easy

Hello Mason Lions, This is Stephanie Lawrence your PTA President. Wednesday October 3rd is our Fresh and Easy shop for schools night. Join us anytime from 4-8pm at the Fresh and Easy, 6755 Mira Mesa Blvd. for your grocery needs, 5% of the entire store sales during that time goes to Mason.

Also for every $20 receipt we collect we get $1 back so don't forget to send those in. Last year we raised over $700. If you and your child can volunteer that nught please see a PTA Board member. Our first Mason newsletter is being send home with your child. It is packed full of information and a PTA membership application. Remember becoming a member does not obligate you to volunteer. We need your voice to be heard. Your membership goes to Sacramento to fight to keep money in our schools and help prevent further cutbacks. Also don't forget to vote this November. Get informed about the propositions that are directly impacting our kids and schools. Have a great weekend.

Fall Fundraiser 2012

This Friday was our Fall Fundraiser kick-off- Help support our fundraiser and our Mason Lions, Ask Friends and family to help support our students as well. We still need volunteers to help Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings to hand out prizes to the kids during the three weeks of the fundraiser.

Just through everyday shopping, you could be helping our school. Use the link on Mason's website to sign up with an account with eScrip or go to www.escrip.com. You will need your Vons grocery card number, debit card or credit card.

When you purchase items, eScrip will interact with the participating businesses and send us a check for a percentage of total sales designated for Mason Elementary School. Target - Take Charge of Education – The Redcard

When you use your Target Visa or Target Card, a percentage of the amount of each purchase you make goes back to our school in the form of a cash donation from Target twice a year. Albertson's – Community Partners

Designate Mason Elementary School as one of your charities and the school could receive up to 4% of the total amount you spend at Albertsons. Please use the link on Mason's website or go to www.albertsons.com and look for the In the Community section then select the Albertson's Community Partners button to sign up using your Preferred Savings Card to register for the program. Albertsons will send the school a check quarterly. This is free to you as a supporter and free to the school. The nearest Albertsons to Mason is at 10740 Westview Pkway.
