Dads Club February

During the month of December or ROCKING Dads planted three new trees on our Mason campus. Each tree was a generous donation from Walter Anderson Nursery. The Dad's Club would also like to thank Jonel Smith, Landscape Services Supervisor and Brian McKnight, Lead Landscape Technician for the San Diego Unified School District for their assistance in planting the trees.

P.S. There are now 23 members and still room to grow!

A huge T H A N K Y O U to all of them!

The next time you stop by one of the many convenient Walter Anderson Nurseries please remember to mention your thanks for their support of our children.

Dad's Club would also like to thank Jonel Smith, Landscape Services Supervisor, and Brian McKnight, Lead Landscape Technician for the San Diego Unified School District for their able assistance in planting the trees, and our Principal, Deidre Hardson, for her continued support of Dad's Club and our work on campus.

Dads Club 11-10

Greeting's Dad's Club Members!

Here's the update to everyone on our annual quarterly meeting which was held at Callahan's last Tuesday night. We now have 23 members in the Club! We are growing, if you know another Dad, Grandfather, Uncle, older brother, or other significant male in a Mason's Students life invite them to join us. All I need is their name and e-mail address. Thanks goes out to Greg Ferguson and Kelly Salazar who recently join the club and came out to the meeting.

Updates on our tree planting. The trees have been donated by Anderson Nursery (Thanks to the efforts of Alex Santos!). Presently they are sitting in my drive way as we wait for the District to dig the holes. The appropriated paper work has been submitted and the District has said that they will have a crew available next week. I will keep you posted as soon as we here time and date.

The next project that the Club will be pursuing is making and mounting white boards for the classroom that do not have them on the outside of their rooms. About 26 in all. Brad Brockmeyer and Alex Santos are following up with getting supplies and materials. Thanks to Kelly Salazar for the offer to provide the tools necessary to complete the project. Once the materials are acquired I will contact you regarding work date and time.

Don't forget to take a look at the Mason website as I post updates for all on a regular bases.

Thank you!! John
