Dear Lion Scholars,
I hope that you had fun at Chuck E. Cheese and the Jog-A-Thon. I know I did!
These next few weeks, you need to really need to work extra hard to get ready for our state test. I am convinced that you are some of the smartest students in state of California. Cooperate...help me prove it!
Friday is the last Friday of the month. Do you know what that means? It's spirit day! We will have our Den Meeting and Otter Pops. Wear any Mason shirt and earn a Lion Buck.
We are all special and capable of amazing things! Do your personal best!
Respectfully,

Dear Lion Scholars,
We are happy that you are here because Lions are expected to cooperate by coming to school every day on time and by learning as much as possible.
This will be a fun week! On Wednesday we will have our Chuck E Cheese fundraiser. Support our school by attending. Also, Thursday is our Jog-A-Thon. Our Jog-A-Thon can help us raise money for our technology and weekly wheel (computers, dance, art, i-pad). Cooperate by doing your part. Who will win the best prize?
We are expecting you to do your personal best. This will be a fantastic week of learning!
We are ALL special!
Respectfully, Ms. H

Dear Lion Scholars,
Happy Monday! This week we need to show staff appreciation. Be sure to show or tell our teachers how much they are appreciated.
Be the best Lion Scholar that you can be. Study hard and learn as much as you can. Remember to cooperate with your teachers and each other. Sportsmanship is a type of cooperation. Lions, you are expected to cooperate -both in and outside of the classroom.
- M-Make everyday count
- A- Act responsibly
- S- Show respect
- O-Obey the school rules
- N-Never say or do anything to others that you would not want done to you!
We are ALL special! Have a superb week!
Respectfully, Ms. H

Dear Lion Families,
Welcome back! We hope that you enjoyed the spring vacation with your families. As we return to school it is important that we continue to teach our Lions to follow the traffic rules. This helps ensure the safety of our Lions. Please use the crosswalks and honor our no parking and drop off zones. Remember, our "children listen to what we say...but they watch what we do." I cannot believe that it is almost time for our CST tests! This is an exciting time because all 2nd through 5th grade Lions will be able to show the state of California just how much they know! These tests are important for your child and for our school. All Lions must attend everyday...on time! Please do not schedule appointments for any Lions during this time because it is very difficult to do make up testing.
Listed below are some additional tips that will make the testing situation easier for your child:
