I hope that you had fun at Chuck E. Cheese and the Jog-A-Thon. I know I did!

This week, please make sure that you are practicing good character. I don't want anyone to miss out on fun activities and learning because they are not showing Lion Pride.

These next few weeks, you need to really need to work extra hard to get ready for our state test. I am convinced that you are some of the smartest students in state of California. Cooperate...help me prove it!

We are all special and capable of amazing things! Do your personal best!

Dear Lion Scholars,

We are happy that you are here because Lions are expected to cooperate by coming to school every day on time and by learning as much as possible.

This will be a fun week! On Wednesday we will have our Chuck E Cheese fundraiser. Support our school by attending. Also, Thursday is our Jog-A-Thon. Our Jog-A-Thon can help us raise money for our music program and weekly wheel (computers, dance, art, Spanish). Cooperate by doing your part. Who will win the best prize?

This will be a fantastic week of learning!

Dear Lion Scholars,

Happy Monday! This week we need to show staff appreciation. Be sure to show or tell our teachers how much they are appreciated.

Be the best Lion Scholar that you can be. Study hard and learn as much as you can. Remember to cooperate with your teachers and each other. Sportsmanship is a type of cooperation. Lions, you are expected to cooperate -both in and outside of the classroom.

Dear Lion Scholars,
Welcome back to school! We hope that you had a wonderful vacation and you are ready to work hard.

Gratitude is one of our character traits. Plan ahead because next week is staff appreciation and "National Day of the Teacher" (Tuesday). How will you thank your teachers?

This month we practice cooperation. Cooperation is to "co" "operate" which means to work together. We need your cooperation. We have so much to do and learn and we only have one month until our important state tests. You must come to school everyday... on time. You must also do your personal best.

We are ALL special and capable of great things! Everyone has a genius in them. Find yours!
