Hello Mason Lions,
 
We have had a fantastic year so far and as we head into December we have just a few reminders for our families.

Our next big event is Mason’s annual Scholastic Book Fair scheduled for Monday, December 7th through Friday, December 11th. You may stop by the book fair before and after school to purchase the latest and greatest in books, pencils, erasers, posters, games, and more. Teachers will be signing up for time slots during the week so that their students may view the various items available. We still need volunteers to help chair so if you are interested please contact us through the Mason website.
 
The PTA is proud to announce that the Philharmonic Wind Quintet will be performing Peter and the Wolf for the students Friday, December 11th. There will be a few of our very own Mason Lions narrating throughout the performance. We are all looking forward to this special event.
 

We have concluded the Great American Fall fundraiser, and I would like to thank all of the Mason Lions who were able to participate in the fundraiser. The majority of the orders received will be delivered to the students on Wednesday, December 9th. Please be sure that your student has assistance in carrying his or her order home on December 9th, especially if large orders were placed. There were a couple of orders submitted late, and we should receive their delivery date in the near future.
 
Also, a big thanks to Michele Jazo for organizing our Fresh n Easy fundraiser. We had a good turnout and Michele has always been instrumental in our fundraising efforts. Mr. Freese’s class took the prize for most students to come participate. Way to go Lions!

We hope you have a very happy and safe holiday season. Please remember that our last day of school before winter break is Friday, December 18th, and we return to school on Tuesday, January 18th.
