Hello Mason Lions,
I am very excited about our upcoming events this month and look forward to seeing everyone participating.
We will be having our Mason Movie Night and we will be featuring a family friendly movie and providing pizza and soda for $2.00. It is sure to be a lot of fun. Please plan to attend.
This month is also our annual PTA elections. If you are interested in a more active role in Mason PTA it is your chance to become more involved. There are plenty of areas where help is still needed. Please contact myself or Beth if you are interested. |

Welcome back Mason Lion families! I hope all of you enjoyed a very safe and happy holiday season.
The PTA would like to thank all of the Mason Lion families and their friends who were able to participate in the Scholastic Book Fair (held in December) and our fundraiser restaurant event at Panda Express (held in January). Your participation made both of these events a huge success. We would also like to send a special thank you to Anna Yip who organized and managed the book fair, and all of the volunteers.
In order to continue raising funds for future school/student events, the PTA will continue to schedule fundraiser restaurant nights throughout the remainder of the school year. Our next fundraiser night will be held at Fuddruckers on Thursday, February 18, 2010, from 12:30-9:00 p.m. We are looking forward to seeing you there!

Hello Mason Lions,
We have had a fantastic year so far and as we head into December we have just a few reminders for our families. Our next big event is Mason’s annual Scholastic Book Fair scheduled for Monday, December 7th through Friday, December 11th. You may stop by the book fair before and after school to purchase the latest and greatest in books, pencils, erasers, posters, games, and more. Teachers will be signing up for time slots during the week so that their students may view the various items available. We still need volunteers to help chair so if you are interested please contact us through the Mason website.
The PTA is proud to announce that the Philharmonic Wind Quintet will be performing Peter and the Wolf for the students Friday, December 11th. There will be a few of our very own Mason Lions narrating throughout the performance. We are all looking forward to this special event.

Hello Mason Lions,
Hope that your first month back to school has been both educationally challenging and fun. I know that all of our Lions are giving it their best effort. Hello to all our new lions and welcome back to all of our returning lions! Also, a warm welcome to all our Mason parents. We are so excited to see your smiling faces and know that you are as eager as we are to begin another great year at Mason Elementary.
We have many exciting events coming up for the beginning of the year so be on the lookout for opportunities to come and meet other Mason families and lend your support to your students school.

What a vacation. I think everyone was ready for a break and I trust everyone will be rejuvenated to push through to the end of the year. I wanted to also take this time to use our refreshed perspective to focus on what we want to accomplish for the end of this school year and for next school year as well. |
