Jog-A-Thon Pledges

Your child should have received back their sponsor sheet and pledge envelope. Please write the childs name, classroom number, teacher name, and amount on the envelope. The envelope is due back by Thursday May 23. Thank you for your support.

Checks should be made payable to Mason PTA. Include childs name and room number in the Memo.
Please do not send loose coins.

I hope that you had fun at Chuck E. Cheese and the Jog-A-Thon. I know I did!

This week, please make sure that you are practicing good character. I don't want anyone to miss out on fun activities and learning because they are not showing Lion Pride.

These next few weeks, you need to really need to work extra hard to get ready for our state test. I am convinced that you are some of the smartest students in state of California. Cooperate...help me prove it!

We are all special and capable of amazing things! Do your personal best!

Hello Mason Lions.

Do we have an exciting week for you?

Join us this Wednesday May 15th anytime after school at Chuck E Cheese on Hibert street for our school fundraiser. Come have fun with your friends, play games and have pizza. Look for fliers on Monday and Tuesday and don't forget your sticker on Wednesday for 10 more free tokens.

I hope you are collecting pledges for our Jog-A-Thon this Thursday May 16th. Parents join our cheer squad or sign up for a $5 donation to run with your child and get a free Mason tshirt. We are going to have a great time with music, Lowel the lion, and all of our Mason friends. Don't forget permission slips are due Wednesday. Let's reach our goal of $17,000 by every student bringing in atleast a $20 pledge. Have a great evening.

Kindergarten Registration

Kindergarten for the 2013/14 school year
- Your child must be 5 years old on or before Oct. 1, 2013
Transitional kinder for the 2013/2014 school year
- Your child must turn 5 years old between Oct 2, 2013 and Dec. 2, 2013

If you are unable to attend pre-registration you can pick-up an enrollment packet on any Thursday, starting May 23, 2013.

Dear Lion parents,
Thank you to the parents who are teaching their children to follow the traffic rules. This helps ensure the safety of our children. Parents who continue to ignore these rules put all of our children at risk. Please use the crosswalks and honor our no parking and drop off zones. Remember, our "children listen to what we say...but they watch what we do."

We are very grateful that we have such hard working students and families here at Mason! However, we need to remind the families that we rarely see that WE NEED YOU TOO! There are many things that we wish to accomplish at Mason for our children. There are several events that we could really use your support with. Mason Clean up day on March 2nd from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. This is a time when we do our spring cleaning and beautify our school. We really need all Hands on Deck for this event. In addition, please support our school by attending our BINGO night (March 6), Book Fair (March 18-22), and Movie Night (March 22). Remember, TOGETHER WE WILL ACHIEVE MORE!

Hello Mason families. Wow we are half way through this school year and so far it has been a great year. Now is our PTA transition time. Many of our board members will be leaving this year or next and we want to continue our success in providing our Mason Lions and teachers with support for programs, classroom supplies and field trips. WE NEED YOUR HELP!! Maybe you don't have time to be on the board but have a special talent? Are you organized, or good with technology, crafty or handy? We can use your help but we need you to volunteer. We really strive to help provide programs and events that our students would not have without the extra support. Your involvement directly and indirectly helps your student and every student on our campus. Please consider lending us your special talent or even just volunteering your time at events. We have a lot of fun family events like Movie night, Bingo night, and the Book Fair coming up and we need you!!
